Security Engineer

Imunify360, a product of CloudLinux, is an innovative security solution designed specifically for shared and VPS/Dedicated servers.

Responsibilities

• Define and build a brand-new Node.js runtime protection product line
• Determine instrumentation strategy, deployment shape, and programming languages
• Implement the product end-to-end using modern dev infrastructure and LLM tools
• Develop detection logic and methodology to minimize false positives and negatives
• Integrate with existing threat intelligence stacks including malware samples and IP reputation

Requirements

• Familiarity with the Node.js runtime and the JavaScript ecosystem
• Strong web application security fundamentals and knowledge of practical exploitation
• Understanding of how detection rules behave at scale
• Ability to act as PM, architect, lead engineer, and QA for the product

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience directing AI coding agents
• Prior work on runtime-protection products, application firewalls, or instrumentation tooling
• Background in malware analysis or incident response
• Familiarity with managed-hosting environments
• Public security research or vulnerability disclosures
