About the role
Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for faculty and students regarding material accommodation requests
- Provide curriculum content and format accommodations including audio, electronic, Braille, and tactile representations
- Maintain statistical records and tracking mechanisms for accommodations
- Coordinate with suppliers for accessibility resources
- Organize activities to promote acceptance of students with accessibility issues
- Maintain the Disability Student Allowance database
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a relevant field
- Certification in a relevant field is preferred
