Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Process high-volume vendor invoices and handle daily manual data entry in Excel and the accounting system
• Prepare and post manual journal entries (accruals, prepayments, reclasses, adjustments)
• Reconcile AP, GL, bank and intercompany accounts across multiple entities and currencies
• Classify costs and allocate expenses across departments and entities
• Own month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities
• Manage vendor relationships, resolve queries and ensure timely payments
• Support audits with schedules, reconciliations and documentation
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies and IFRS

Requirements

• 7-10 years of hands-on accounting experience
• Strong experience processing high volumes of vendor invoices
• Comfortable with manual entries and manually maintained accounts in Excel and an accounting system
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, data cleaning)
• Working knowledge of accounting systems, preferably Oracle NetSuite
• Understanding of multi-company, intercompany and multi-currency accounting
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

Preferred Qualifications

• ACCA, CPA or CMA
• Experience in a fast-growing, multi-entity environment
