Senior Accountant

About the Company

Hospitable builds software for short-term rentals to rent themselves, providing a state-of-the-art product and user experience. We are a remote-only, global, and trust-based company that values diversity and intentional building.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end close deliverables including journal entries, reconciliations, schedules, and variance explanations across multiple entities
• Manage bank and cash reconciliations for over 20 accounts across multiple currencies
• Monitor and resolve subscription revenue flow issues between Chargebee and NetSuite
• Oversee AP and spend controls using Payhawk and NetSuite
• Maintain balance sheet integrity for assigned accounts including prepaids, accruals, and intercompany accounts
• Document SOPs and checklists to improve finance processes and tighten controls
• Provide ad hoc accounting and finance support for audits and analysis

Requirements

• 5+ years in accounting with ownership of month-end close processes
• Strong reconciliation and documentation discipline
• Experience working in an ERP, preferably NetSuite
• Ability to operate proactively in a fast-moving, remote environment

Preferred Qualifications

• SaaS subscription billing or revenue recognition experience
• Experience with Chargebee
• Experience with AP/spend tooling like Payhawk
• Multi-entity and multi-currency accounting experience
