About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure accurate financial records
- Manage general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations
- Monitor project costs, budgets, and expenditures
- Prepare and review financial statements and management reports
- Monitor construction project financial performance and cost control
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
- Coordinate with auditors and ensure compliance with financial regulations
- Support financial planning, budgeting, and cash flow management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Previous experience in a Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager role
- Proven experience in the construction industry
- Knowledge of project accounting, cost control, and financial reporting
- Knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
