Senior Accountant (MRS)

Responsibilities

• Perform daily AP and AR activities in line with company processes
• Prepare and reconcile month-end AP and AR reports
• Monitor customer receivables and follow up where required
• Create purchase orders and match them to vendor invoices
• Maintain the fixed assets register
• Manage cash flow, bank accounts and bank reconciliations
• Coordinate bonds, guarantees and letters of credit with banks
• Record project transactions in the general ledger under IFRS
• Manage monthly, quarterly and annual closing and group reporting
• Manage payroll functions and accounting processes

Requirements

• 8-10 years in bookkeeping, AP/AR, cash management, UAE VAT and reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 with strong Excel skills
• Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP or similar financial software
• Sound knowledge of accounting principles and standards
• Detail-oriented with strong data analysis skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in renewable energy projects
