About the role
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end conversion tracking for platforms including Google Ads, Meta, and LinkedIn
- Lead Google Tag Manager architecture across web and server containers
- Design and implement server-side tagging in GTM
- Author data layer specifications for development teams
- Ensure accurate tracking in GA4 and ad platforms through robust QA
- Serve as the technical authority for scoping conversion tracking work
- Mentor strategists and analysts on conversion tracking fundamentals
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in ad operations, digital analytics, or conversion tracking
- Expert-level command of Google Tag Manager (web and server)
- Expert-level GA4 implementation experience
- Deep knowledge of major ad platforms and tagging requirements
- Hands-on server-side tagging experience
- Ability to write and modify JavaScript for custom tagging
- Experience integrating tracking with CRMs like HubSpot or Salesforce
- Strong understanding of browser-based tracking, cookies, and consent principles
