About the role
Responsibilities
- Work with Account Executives to meet sales goals across large accounts in Middle East
- Manage all technical aspects of a sales cycle, from initial meetings to final presentations
- Complete comprehensive discovery to understand client business needs
- Write and organize technical responses for RFPs and formal proposals
- Build and present proof-of-concept applications to solve customer problems
- Explain technical details and business benefits to executives and stakeholders
- Represent Appian at industry events, conferences, and seminars
- Build long-term relationships with technical staff at target accounts
- Collaborate with internal teams to close deals
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
- 10+ years of experience as a Solutions Consultant or Sales Engineer for enterprise software
- Hands-on technical background such as Software Engineer or Technical Consultant
- Ability to partner with sales teams on account planning and revenue targets
- Proficiency in discussing production environments, including APIs, application servers, and databases
- Experience working with large Financial Services & Insurance organizations
