About the role
Responsibilities
- Act as regional Customer Due Diligence specialist for the MENA region
- Serve as primary escalation point for Enhanced Due Diligence reviews
- Manage relationship with the regional Money Laundering Reporting Officer
- Review and approve analyst escalations and decisions
- Conduct quality control checks on reviews, assessments and reports
- Represent the team during internal and external regional audits
- Lead tactical projects and mentor analysts
Requirements
- 4+ years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of Enhanced Due Diligence concepts and processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Project management and task prioritization
- Understanding of payments landscape and processes
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement
- Native Arabic speaker
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with audits and regulatory compliance
- Knowledge of payment industry compliance regulations
