Senior Associate - Corporate/Mergers & Acquisitions

Responsibilities

• Advise on large scale, complex, cross-border M&A, venture capital, private equity, and investment funds transactions
• Draft and negotiate key transaction documents including term sheets, share sale and purchase agreements, and joint venture agreements
• Manage due diligence, disclosure exercises, and closings
• Develop relationships with clients including sovereign wealth funds and multinational corporations
• Supervise junior lawyers and paralegals
• Engage in business development activities to promote the Firm

Requirements

• 6 to 10 years PQE
• Qualified lawyer with excellent academic credentials
• Experience and training with a leading international law firm
• Significant experience in M&A, private equity, venture capital, or investment funds
• Excellent English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking)
• Strong client service orientation
• Ability to work in a global team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Arabic language proficiency is an added value
