About the role
Responsibilities
- Advise on large scale, complex, cross-border M&A, venture capital, private equity, and investment funds transactions
- Draft and negotiate key transaction documents including term sheets, share sale and purchase agreements, and joint venture agreements
- Manage due diligence, disclosure exercises, and closings
- Develop relationships with clients including sovereign wealth funds and multinational corporations
- Supervise junior lawyers and paralegals
- Engage in business development activities to promote the Firm
Requirements
- 6 to 10 years PQE
- Qualified lawyer with excellent academic credentials
- Experience and training with a leading international law firm
- Significant experience in M&A, private equity, venture capital, or investment funds
- Excellent English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking)
- Strong client service orientation
- Ability to work in a global team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Arabic language proficiency is an added value
