Senior Associate | Financial Reporting Advisory Services

Responsibilities

• Supporting senior colleagues on financial accounting engagements
• Leading in preparing work papers and drafts for financial accounting engagements
• Leading in audit plans with a focus on identifying and addressing key financial reporting risks
• Leading in preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards (eg., IFRS, US GAAP)
• Staying updated on new accounting standards and advising clients on the implications for their financial reporting
• Supporting accounting for new standards, entity restructuring, and conversions
• Providing hands-on client support that exceeds client expectations

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Accounting Advisory in a top international consulting firm
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance
• ACA/ACCA/CPA qualified (or equivalent)
• Solid understanding of IFRS requirements and practical knowledge around the application of accounting standards
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office
• Strong written and spoken English; Arabic speaking is advantageous
• Willingness and ability to work additional hours, as needed, and travel to various client sites
