About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and support on corporate and commercial matters
- Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents
- Collaborate with business units to identify and mitigate legal risks
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Support management of external legal counsel and legal projects
Requirements
- 6+ years practicing law, corporate and commercial background
- Professional proficiency in written and spoken Arabic
- Proven ability to review and negotiate complex contracts
- In-depth knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
- Experience with cross-functional teams and legal risk management
- Familiarity with managing external legal counsel
Preferred Qualifications
- LLB Law or Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice as an advocate, attorney or solicitor
- Experience in a corporate legal department or law firm
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
