Responsibilities
- Build and maintain intricate backend systems and highly performant microservices
- Design and implement APIs to power data visualizations
- Manage complex event-driven systems with high availability
- Address scalability requirements and implement performance improvements
- Collaborate with team members to solve complex technical challenges
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of experience building intricate backend systems
- Strong knowledge of Node.js
- Solid SQL and NoSQL database experience (Postgres, MongoDB, Elasticsearch)
- Advanced knowledge of system architecture and database design
- Experience with event-driven systems such as Kafka
- Proficiency in Docker and container orchestration tools
- Experience with Continuous Integration and test-driven development
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Full stack development experience
- Experience with graph databases
- Previous experience working in a startup environment
