Responsibilities

• Build and maintain intricate backend systems and highly performant microservices
• Design and implement APIs to power data visualizations
• Manage complex event-driven systems with high availability
• Address scalability requirements and implement performance improvements
• Collaborate with team members to solve complex technical challenges

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of experience building intricate backend systems
• Strong knowledge of Node.js
• Solid SQL and NoSQL database experience (Postgres, MongoDB, Elasticsearch)
• Advanced knowledge of system architecture and database design
• Experience with event-driven systems such as Kafka
• Proficiency in Docker and container orchestration tools
• Experience with Continuous Integration and test-driven development
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Full stack development experience
• Experience with graph databases
• Previous experience working in a startup environment
