About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare drink orders according to specified recipes using measuring systems
- Answer guest questions regarding the origin, vintage, and style of various wines
- Issue, open, and serve wine and champagne bottles
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and follow clean-as-you-go procedures
- Perform bottle-for-bottle liquor restock and manage inventory
- Handle cash and process payments in accordance with accounting procedures
- Secure liquors, beers, wines, and storage areas
- Ensure staff works together as a team to provide optimum service
Requirements
- At least 2 years of related work experience in a five-star hotel
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bartender Certificate
- Proficiency in English
- Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills
