About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operation and continuous improvement of the business continuity program
- Lead business impact analyses and set recovery priorities and objectives
- Develop and lead the annual business continuity exercise and testing program
- Advise service owners and senior stakeholders on continuity and resilience gaps
- Coordinate incident support and post-incident reviews
- Prepare resilience reports for management and governance committees
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline
- Certification such as CBCP, MBCI or Operational Resilience, or equivalent experience
- At least 7 years in business continuity, operational resilience or disaster recovery
- Experience leading BIAs, continuity plans and playbooks
- Experience designing and evaluating exercises and recovery tests
- Working knowledge of ISO 22301 and UAE NCEMA requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certification in business continuity, crisis or risk management
- Experience in the UAE or wider Middle East
- Experience in a complex, multi-function organization such as a university
