Senior Business Development Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage and grow a portfolio of corporate clients across Employee Benefits and Group Medical Insurance
• Leverage an existing network and transferable book of business to generate new opportunities
• Execute business development strategies targeting multinational, government-related, and oil & gas accounts
• Build long-term relationships with HR leaders, procurement teams, and corporate stakeholders
• Conduct client needs assessments and develop tailored Employee Benefits solutions
• Negotiate competitive terms, pricing, and coverage with insurers and underwriters
• Lead the full renewal cycle, including market benchmarking and placement
• Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities across the wider portfolio
• Liaise with insurers and TPAs to resolve escalated claims and operational issues
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and ensure regulatory compliance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 5–10+ years of experience in Employee Benefits, Group Medical Insurance, or corporate insurance broking
• Strong understanding of the UAE health insurance and Employee Benefits market
• Existing, transferable book of corporate Employee Benefits / Group Health business
• Established relationships within multinational, government, or oil & gas sectors
• Experience with leading regional or international insurance brokers

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional insurance qualifications such as CII, ADII, or equivalent
