About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage all clinical operational aspects of a global clinical trial from start-up to close-out
- Monitor trial adherence to GCP, protocol, SOPs and key performance indicators
- Oversee CRO and sites, serving as primary CRO/vendor contact
- Identify study risks and implement solutions
- Manage study timelines aligned with corporate goals
- Contribute to protocols and clinical study reports
- Lead clinical operational and study team meetings
- May travel up to 30% to support clinical programs
Requirements
- BS or higher in life sciences or health-related field
- 5+ years clinical development experience
- Progressive clinical research experience in pharma or biotech
- Working proficiency in GCP, ICH guidelines and FDA regulations
- Experience managing and mentoring junior staff
- Proficiency with MS Office
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Rare disease or inflammatory disease study experience
- Regulatory filing and inspection readiness experience
