Senior Cloud Engineer

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to fast-paced innovative companies leveraging Cloud for transformation
• Cover a wide spectrum of technology topics including infrastructure as code, application modernization, containerization, serverless platforms, CI/CD, cloud networking, and data analytics
• Utilize tools such as Google Cloud, Hashicorp portfolio, and Kubernetes to solve client requirements
• Execute projects using first-principles reasoning to select the right tools and processes

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with a major public cloud platform (Google Cloud preferred)
• Hands-on experience with common DevOps tools and practices
• Technical expertise in Linux system administration, Networking, or Database Administration (MySQL)
• Experience with traditional data center environments (VMware, physical servers, storage arrays)
• Ability to write scripts and automation in at least one language
• Conversational proficiency in English
• Comfort with video meetings for internal and client interactions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience migrating applications from data center environments to public cloud
