Senior Conference Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end planning, design, and delivery of large-scale conferences and summits
• Develop content-rich programs, themes, and session formats
• Collaborate with steering committees, advisory boards, and clients to shape program direction
• Lead, mentor, and manage a cross-functional internal team of producers and coordinators
• Serve as the lead point of contact for high-level clients, government entities, and sponsors
• Source, invite, and manage top-tier speakers, moderators, and VIPs
• Oversee speaker logistics and communications
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and client referrals
• Support proposal development, bid submissions, and pitches
• Lead on-site event operations including stage and show management

Requirements

• 10–15+ years of experience in conference management or large-scale events
• Proven experience managing high-level stakeholders in government or corporate environments
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple workstreams
• Immediate availability or short notice preferred
