Senior Consultant - Data Analytics & Transaction Monitoring Scenario Tuning

Responsibilities

• Assess existing TM scenarios, thresholds, alert volumes, and analyst workload
• Support remediation of findings from Internal Audit, Model Risk Management, and regulators
• Review and enhance typology coverage assessment processes
• Perform ad hoc scenario parameter and threshold tuning to reduce false positives
• Conduct pre- and post-tuning analysis and document methodologies
• Support TM-related data profiling, reconciliation, and data quality assessment
• Assist with TM system upgrades including business requirements, data mapping, and UAT
• Coordinate with Compliance, TM Operations, Technology, and system vendors

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in transaction monitoring, AML analytics, or scenario tuning
• Strong understanding of AML/CFT, sanctions, and financial crime typologies
• Experience analyzing transaction, customer, and alert performance data
• Proficiency in SQL and advanced Microsoft Excel
• Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau
• Familiarity with SAS transaction monitoring

Preferred Qualifications

• UAE banking experience
• Knowledge of Python, R, or SAS
• Experience supporting regulatory or model validation remediation
