About the role
Responsibilities
- Build the corporate legal function from the ground up
- Balance strategic vision with hands-on execution
- Define key processes and lead the legal department's strategy
- Drive scalable growth through innovation and optimization of risk management
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to champion a collaborative culture
- Report directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Requirements
- Experience in commercial law and software licensing
- Expertise in professional service arrangements and intellectual property
- Knowledge of business development, distribution, and marketing arrangements
- Solid understanding of privacy law
- Experience with contract and business processes, employment law, procurement, patents, insurance, and corporate finance and governance
