Senior Customer Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own technical pre-sales for regional NOC accounts including discovery, solution design, demos, and proofs of concept
• Design integrated edge solutions covering hardware requirements, network strategy, and application deployment
• Translate oil and gas operational use cases into Armada architectures
• Lead and document proofs of concept in partnership with product and delivery teams
• Act as the primary technical point of contact and trusted advisor for customer engineering and IT/OT stakeholders
• Position Armada platforms and partner stacks (Microsoft Azure Local, NVIDIA, Qualcomm) against competitors
• Support bid and RFP responses with technical content, architecture diagrams, and effort estimates
• Feed customer and field insights back to product management to shape the energy roadmap

Requirements

• 8+ years of pre-sales, solution architecture, or customer engineering experience
• Direct experience in the oil & gas sector (hard requirement)
• Strong grasp of edge computing, data center infrastructure, cloud, and AI/ML solution architecture
• Experience scoping and running proofs of concept and writing technical proposals
• Familiarity with the GCC / MEA energy landscape and NOC procurement environments
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
• Willingness to travel across the region

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on exposure to OT/IIoT, remote operations, or data sovereignty requirements
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, NVIDIA AI, or Qualcomm infrastructure
• Arabic language skills
