Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design and execution of consolidating disparate customer identity platforms into a single target solution
• Partner with product, marketing, and business units to co-own the identity roadmap
• Manage day-to-day lifecycle operations of user accounts, including MFA, password resets, and system health checks
• Develop and maintain API connections and microservices architectures linking CIAM to ancillary systems
• Support development of user-facing interfaces for mobile applications to ensure frictionless authentication
• Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting to ensure platform resilience
• Serve as a core responder for customer identity-related security incidents
• Conduct regular Quarterly Business Reviews to communicate platform health and fraud metrics

Requirements

• Proven experience executing a full-scale CIAM platform migration
• Advanced expertise in session token management and authentication protocols (OAuth2, OIDC, SAML)
• Hands-on experience with major CIAM solutions like Auth0, Okta, Ping Identity, ForgeRock, or AWS Cognito
• Strong coding background with a focus on microservices and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience influencing mobile application UI/UX for login and onboarding journeys
• Ability to analyze fraud metrics and balance security with customer conversion rates

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with zero-downtime migration strategies like Just-In-Time (JIT) provisioning
• Understanding of global data privacy compliance (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA)
• Familiarity with passwordless authentication, FIDO2, and Passkeys
• Experience managing identity platforms with high-volume seasonal traffic spikes
