Senior Data Analyst

Responsibilities

• Document data mapping to ingest raw data from diverse sources into the Bronze layer of the data lake
• Document data lineage and ingestion logic for transparency and compliance
• Establish and monitor data quality checks to identify anomalies, missing values, and schema drift
• Troubleshoot ingestion issues and implement effective solutions
• Implement dashboards to track data health in the Bronze layer
• Foster a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement within data operations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Analytics or a similar field
• 4+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytics role
• Strong SQL skills and familiarity with data manipulation in raw formats
• Experience working with large datasets in data lake environments
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT methodologies and best practices
• Understanding of data modeling concepts and techniques
• Experience with data quality management and testing frameworks

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Scala
• Experience with Databricks environment
• Familiarity with modern data architecture patterns
• Experience with big data technologies such as Spark and Delta Lake
• Knowledge of data governance principles
