Senior Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own data integrity in both directions across growth, lifecycle and brokerage data
• Own dbt warehouse layers: raw, staged, identity-resolved and curated models with declared grain and tests
• Establish data contracts with product engineering and platform owners
• Own governance: role-based access, PII masking, retention and auditability
• Choose between batch, change-data-capture and streaming based on consumer needs
• Partner with Marketing, Product and Operations on events and fields the business needs

Requirements

• Five or more years in data or analytics engineering with production pipeline ownership
• Deep SQL and Python proficiency
• Production dbt experience in a layered warehouse
• Managed connectors, event pipelines and change-data-capture experience
• Reverse ETL, audiences or conversion feed experience
• Data quality, reconciliation and monitoring in practice
• Data governance in practice, including audit trails
• Familiarity with fintech or brokerage data

Preferred Qualifications

• Identity resolution across web, app and account data
• Marketing data and ad-platform API experience
• Lifecycle and CRM tooling
• Semantic layers for BI tools and AI agents
• Workflow orchestration such as Argo Workflows or Airflow
• Regulated environment experience (SEC, FINRA)
