Senior Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Identify high-impact machine learning and AI opportunities with product and business teams
• Design, train, fine-tune and evaluate machine learning and deep-learning models
• Work with foundation models across language, vision and multimodal applications
• Build datasets, features, training pipelines and evaluation frameworks
• Run efficient GPU experiments and improve model quality, speed and cost
• Build reusable modeling components and implementation patterns for multiple teams
• Partner with engineers on deployment, monitoring and reliability
• Communicate results, limitations and tradeoffs to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years developing machine learning solutions beyond experimentation
• Strong Python programming and software engineering skills
• Strong foundations in machine learning, statistics and experimental design
• Hands-on experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Experience training or fine-tuning transformer, vision or multimodal models
• Experience with GPUs and practical training and inference constraints
• Ability to work with large, complex and imperfect datasets
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in a related field
• Distributed training, model optimization, quantization or parameter-efficient fine-tuning
• Deploying and monitoring machine learning models in production
• Cloud infrastructure and distributed data processing
• Building AI systems in regulated or high-stakes environments
