About the role
Responsibilities
- Analyze user journeys, activation, engagement, retention, and monetization
- Design and evaluate A/B tests with metrics, guardrails, and sample sizing
- Define and maintain product metrics and validate the data behind them
- Build reusable analytical datasets and dbt models using SQL
- Use Python for statistical analysis, modeling, and automation
- Lead ambiguous problems from question through recommendation and measurement
Requirements
- 7+ years in data science, product analytics, or related field
- Strong statistics: inference, hypothesis testing, regression, confounding
- Practical A/B testing and experiment validity experience
- Advanced SQL and strong Python proficiency
- Working knowledge of dbt, data modeling, and modern data platforms
- Hands-on use of AI coding tools such as Codex, Claude Code, or Cursor
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Snowflake, including query performance and cost
- Experience with crypto, tokenized assets, finance, or fintech
