Senior Data Warehouse Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect and build scalable, high-performance data warehouse solutions that empower analytics and operational excellence across our platform
• Develop and maintain reliable, well-documented data pipelines and ELT processes
• Continuously tune and optimize data warehouse performance
• Partner with data analysts and scientists to transform raw data into actionable analytics and machine learning models
• Troubleshoot, monitor, and refine data warehouse infrastructure
• Foster a data-driven culture by sharing best practices
• Work with modern cloud-based data warehouses like ClickHouse
• Contribute to the development of new developer-facing data tools

Requirements

• Extensive experience designing, implementing, and optimizing data warehouses in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, etc.)
• Hands-on expertise with data modeling and transformation tools like dbt
• Excellent SQL skills and familiarity with modern columnar storage data warehouses
• Experience with data pipeline orchestration tools like Prefect or Airflow
• Solid foundation in software engineering best practices: version control, code reviews, testing, and automation
• Strong communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Apache Superset, Sigma, Tableau, Looker)
• Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform
• Scripting/automation experience in Bash, Python, or Go
