Responsibilities

  • Lead market-specific strategic advisory functions and oversee market research, competitive intelligence, and performance analytics.
  • Develop "right to win" strategies informed by competitive, regulatory, and consumer trends.
  • Lead portfolio performance assessments to identify growth and remediation opportunities.
  • Support recommendations for product positioning, market alignment, and portfolio investments.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to executive and market leadership teams, translating complex analyses into actionable insights.
  • Lead and mentor a team of strategy, intelligence, and analytics professionals.
  • Facilitate strategic planning sessions in collaboration with corporate strategy and finance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 12+ years of experience in healthcare strategy, insurance product strategy, consulting, or strategic planning.
  • 6+ years of people leadership experience managing multi-level teams.
  • Deep expertise in ACA individual and small group QHP markets.
  • Proven background in market analytics, competitor intelligence, and business case development.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA, MHA, MPH, or a related advanced degree.
  • Experience working within internal strategy or professional consulting functions.
  • Strong familiarity with ACA market dynamics and healthcare competitive landscapes.
  • Experience supporting market expansion and healthcare partnership strategies.
  • Ability to work with large datasets and distill complex analyses into structured, actionable business insights.
