Senior Director of Managed Services, Network and Security

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and scale high-performance teams of network and security engineers, architects, and technical leaders
• Lead globally distributed teams supporting 24x7 managed services and MSSP operations
• Oversee enterprise network infrastructure, including physical components and virtual networking layers
• Lead SASE, SSE, ZTNA, and identity-first security strategies (IAM, Okta, Azure AD)
• Drive XDR/MDR capabilities, SIEM/SOAR integration, and cloud security (CNAPP, CSPM, CWPP)
• Align services to NIST, SOC 2, and HIPAA frameworks
• Own end-to-end delivery performance, SLAs, KPIs, and customer satisfaction metrics
• Serve as a strategic executive advisor to C-Suite customers and internal stakeholders

Requirements

• Proven experience as a senior people leader managing large networking and security teams
• Experience leading global delivery operations within MSP/MSSP environments
• Expertise in core networking protocols, SASE, ZTNA, and identity-first security
• Deep understanding of cloud security, Zero Trust architecture, and compliance frameworks
• Experience building or scaling managed services portfolios and delivery frameworks
• Strong financial and operational acumen regarding infrastructure cost models
• Excellent executive communication skills
• Must be based in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

• 15-20+ years of experience in enterprise networking and security
• 10+ years in leadership roles, with 5+ years in senior people leadership
• Prior experience in a Managed Services Provider (MSP) or consulting organization
• Deep LEAN experience (Kaizen, process optimization, waste elimination)
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCIE, or equivalent
• Cloud security certifications (AWS, Azure)
• LEAN / Six Sigma certification
