About the role
Responsibilities
- Coach and develop special programs leaders into effective professionals
- Monitor portfolio performance metrics and intervene to improve outcomes
- Enforce approved processes across special programs and document exceptions
- Set productivity and quality standards and rebalance workloads
- Partner with Operations, IT, Data and Curriculum teams on system changes
- Direct and audit federal, state and company compliance for special services
Requirements
- Master's degree in Education, Special Education or related field
- Ten years of special services and ten years of leadership experience
- Deep expertise in special education, Section 504, EL, GT and McKinney-Vento
- Experience leading directors or program leads
- Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency with student information, LMS, IEP and workflow systems
- Professional private remote workspace with reliable high-speed internet
- Ability to pass background checks
Preferred Qualifications
- Colorado, Arizona or Washington experience
- Online-school leadership experience
