About the role
Responsibilities
- Own versioned gRPC, GraphQL, and REST API contracts for DevHub and partners
- Manage IBC channels, relaying, and bridge surfaces (Base to Autheo)
- Implement durable workflows (Saga) for multi-step flows
- Deliver reliable event delivery (webhooks/streams) with idempotency
- Ensure reliability via Kubernetes, circuit breakers, and OpenTelemetry tracing
- Maintain developer surfaces including documentation and sandboxes
Requirements
- 5+ years in protocol or API engineering
- Proficiency in Go or Rust, and gRPC or GraphQL
- Experience operating a bridge, IBC path, XCM, or CCIP
- Strong understanding of distributed systems (retries, idempotency, timeouts)
- Experience with Kubernetes and tracing (OpenTelemetry)
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Cosmos SDK or EVM clients
- Experience with bridge audits
- Multi-language SDK development
- Experience with Kafka or equivalent event logs
- Public technical artifacts (specs, crates, or design docs)
