Senior Finance Analyst - 1 year contract

Responsibilities

• Provide support and advice on financial matters including budget preparation, management accounting, and MIS reporting
• Liaise with departments for budgeting and forecasting and consolidate annual accounts
• Exercise budgetary and physical controls for asset management and purchases
• Ensure tax compliance and timely return filing
• Manage inventory control functions including order approval, costing, and pricing
• Monitor credit limit controls and review debtor ageing
• Oversee internal and external payments and ensure adherence to approved terms
• Maintain up-to-date accounting entries and perform reconciliations with banks and creditors
• Project cash flows and monitor bank balances against approved facilities
• Review monthly and annual closing activities in accordance with corporate policies and IFRS

Requirements

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
• 4 to 5 years of post-qualification experience
• Knowledge of international accounting practices in a computerized environment
• Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with ERP solutions
• Strong familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and research skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
