About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute assigned internal audit engagements from planning through to reporting
- Conduct risk-based audits and evaluate internal controls and business processes
- Lead annual risk assessment exercises and provide quarterly updates
- Develop Risk and Control Matrices (RACMs), audit programs, and Sampling Memos
- Execute testing procedures and identify control operating deficiencies
- Prepare high-quality draft audit reports and consultative recommendations
- Monitor the implementation status of internal audit recommendations
- Conduct routine stock counts at various locations in the UAE
- Leverage AI and advanced analytics tools to enhance audit procedures
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree
- Chartered Accountant qualification
- Minimum 5 years of work experience
- At least 3 years of experience in executing internal audits or internal control advisory
- Strong knowledge of risks and internal controls adequacy
- Highly analytical and assertive personality
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) qualification
- CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) qualification
- Bilingual proficiency
