Senior IT Governance Specialist

Responsibilities

• Lead the enhancement and alignment of IT governance structures and strategy
• Oversee evaluations to identify improvement areas and streamline operations
• Deliver compliance and records management solutions
• Refine and enhance IT Governance Board (ITGB) strategy and processes
• Assist with redesigning the Architecture Review Board (ARB) and implementing automation
• Identify AI use cases and oversee the development of AI packages
• Track, review, and interpret laws, regulations, and policies impacting the agency
• Coordinate architecture, strategic assessment, and project activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field
• 10+ years of professional IT experience
• 10+ years of experience in data governance, data analysis, or data management
• Experience with data cataloging, business glossary development, and metadata enrichment
• Ability to pass and maintain a public trust investigation
• High proficiency in industry standard data governance theories and methodologies
