About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the enhancement and alignment of IT governance structures and strategy
- Oversee evaluations to identify improvement areas and streamline operations
- Deliver compliance and records management solutions
- Refine and enhance IT Governance Board (ITGB) strategy and processes
- Assist with redesigning the Architecture Review Board (ARB) and implementing automation
- Identify AI use cases and oversee the development of AI packages
- Track, review, and interpret laws, regulations, and policies impacting the agency
- Coordinate architecture, strategic assessment, and project activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field
- 10+ years of professional IT experience
- 10+ years of experience in data governance, data analysis, or data management
- Experience with data cataloging, business glossary development, and metadata enrichment
- Ability to pass and maintain a public trust investigation
- High proficiency in industry standard data governance theories and methodologies
