About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle for the Information Technology Department
- Act as Senior Buyer for the IT category
- Receive RFQs/RFPs, solicit vendor proposals, and lead communications and negotiations
- Prepare procurement plans in collaboration with end users
- Create contracts and negotiate terms and conditions with vendors
- Handle PO creation and issuance for execution and delivery
- Coordinate vendor registration and account updates between IT and VMCP
- Ensure optimal utilization of SAP Ariba for RFPs, Contract Workspace, and Reverse Auctions
- Lead contract drafting, review, and execution with stakeholders
- Maintain and monitor the Contract Database and ensure proper archiving of procurement files
- Support vendors with pending payments by coordinating with requesters and FCD
Requirements
- Must have IT procurement experience or be an IT professional
- UAE National
- Experience in the banking sector is preferred
- CIPS qualification or active membership is preferred
