Senior Java Developer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Spring Boot microservices for bonus processing, game launch, and catalog management
• Implement promotional mechanics including bonus crediting, wagering logic, and settlement
• Integrate third-party game providers and wallet callbacks
• Build and evolve REST APIs with request signing and authentication
• Ensure correctness of real-money transactions using idempotency and retries
• Manage caching and session state with Redis
• Own observability using Micrometer, Prometheus, and Grafana
• Write unit, integration, and functional tests using JUnit 5 and Testcontainers

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend development experience
• Strong proficiency in Java 17+ and Spring Boot 3.x
• Experience building business-critical domain logic for payments or billing
• Solid experience integrating and designing REST APIs
• Understanding of distributed systems basics (consistency, timeouts, retries)
• Experience with SQL and at least one NoSQL store (Redis, Cassandra, or Elasticsearch)
• Upper-intermediate or higher level of English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Scala, Play, or Akka
• Experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures
• Experience running services on Kubernetes and using GitLab CI
• Familiarity with Prometheus and Grafana
• iGaming or betting domain experience
