Senior Legal Counsel

Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate and close client and vendor agreements across commercial and contractual matters
• Provide risk-weighted advice to business leaders balancing commercial upside against legal, financial and reputational risk
• Support the General Counsel on intellectual property, open source licensing, privacy, compliance and acquisitions
• Partner with Sales, Finance, Operations, HR and IT & Security teams
• Design automated contracting processes and compliance training
• Manage legal records and corporate governance across multiple jurisdictions

Requirements

• 8-10 years of relevant legal experience, including in-house at a high-growth blockchain company
• Experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements in the blockchain space
• Open source expertise
• Law degree and license to practice law in at least one jurisdiction
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Expert verbal and written communication
