About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership, administration, and planning for the University Library
- Drive continuous enhancement of library services in alignment with academic missions and research priorities
- Manage library operations, digital resources, and information literacy programs
- Oversee library technologies and research support services
- Manage budgeting and staff development
- Administer Elsevier's PURE Research Information Management System (RIMS)
- Ensure alignment with accreditation standards and digital transformation initiatives
Requirements
- UAE National status required
- Experience in strategic library leadership and administration
- Proficiency in library technologies and digital resource management
- Experience with Elsevier's PURE Research Information Management System (RIMS)
- Knowledge of research support services and information literacy
