Senior Manager - Bid & Cost Management

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Provide direction and oversight for bid and cost management teams, establish KPIs, and lead talent development
• Bid Management: Oversee end-to-end bid processes ensuring governance compliance and review commercial proposals
• Cost and Profitability Management: Analyze MRO operations and contract performance to identify cost-saving and profitability improvement initiatives
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary interface with internal departments and external partners
• Financial Performance: Monitor key financial metrics, manage risk and opportunity identification, and prepare reports for senior leadership

Requirements

• Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or related fields
• At least 10 years of experience in commercial management within the Aviation or Aero Engine MRO industry
• Minimum of 5 years in leadership roles managing specialist teams
• Deep expertise in bid and tender management, financial modelling, cost control, and profitability improvement
• Strong strategic leadership, commercial acumen, and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, ERP systems such as Oracle, and data visualization tools
