About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide independent credit assessment and approval oversight for Corporate Banking exposures
- Evaluate and approve complex bilateral, syndicated, structured, and project finance proposals
- Assess portfolio-level risks, sectoral concentrations and emerging trends
- Manage early warning identification and remedial action on exposures
- Partner with Relationship Managers on transaction structuring
- Attend Credit Committees as a regular member
Requirements
- University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related field
- 12-18 years corporate credit experience in a bank or financial institution
- Authorized approver experience essential
- Expertise in large and structured transactions
- Cross-sector credit experience across FIs, traded credit, commodities, manufacturing, retail
- Knowledge of CBUAE regulatory frameworks and credit policies
