Senior Manager - Policy

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement policy initiatives for conduct and prudential regulatory frameworks
• Manage complex policy projects from initiation through to legislative implementation
• Manage the consultation process by analyzing feedback from published papers
• Support policy initiatives for sectors including Wealth/Asset Management and RegTech/SupTech
• Prepare Board Papers and liaise with internal ADGM bodies
• Participate in working groups with local and federal regulatory authorities
• Provide policy advisory services and peer reviews across the FSRA
• Horizon scan for international financial services policy trends
• Manage and mentor team members to drive performance

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Law, Finance, FinTech, Public Policy, or related field
• 10-12 years of policy development or regulatory experience
• Experience in the digital asset sector
• Experience analyzing innovative product offerings and assessing associated risks
• Knowledge of international standards (BCBS, IOSCO, IAIS, FSB)
• Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and influencing skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in business English

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of DLT, smart contracts, decentralized technology, and AI
• Expertise in FinTech conduct and prudential matters
• Experience dealing with international regulatory bodies
• Proficiency in Arabic and understanding of Arabic culture
