About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for specialty raw material portfolios
- Manage strategic supplier relationships and sourcing activities across assigned categories
- Perform supplier evaluation and selection, commercial negotiations, and purchasing
- Monitor supplier performance across delivery, quality, cost, and responsiveness
- Partner with Quality Assurance to support supplier procurement audits
- Drive cost-reduction initiatives and ensure supply continuity
- Stay current on supplier capabilities, market trends, and technologies to identify sourcing opportunities
Requirements
- Experienced procurement and strategic sourcing professional
- Strong expertise in raw materials, supplier management, negotiation, and cost optimization
- Ability to work within a cGMP-reserved environment
- Ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution
- Ability to independently manage supplier relationships and resolve supply challenges
