About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of Emirates Nature-WWF's strategic communications and external engagement agenda
- Translate complex conservation programmes and scientific information into engaging communications for diverse audiences
- Develop integrated communications campaigns to inspire behavioural change and increase public participation
- Manage external communications and public affairs to strengthen organisational reputation and visibility
- Build and maintain relationships with government entities, corporate partners, donors, and NGOs
- Provide strategic leadership across communications workstreams and manage external agencies and consultants
Requirements
- 8-10 years of professional experience in strategic communications, corporate communications, or public affairs
- Fluency in both English and Arabic (essential for writing, editing, and translation)
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related discipline
- Proven experience delivering integrated communications strategies and stakeholder engagement initiatives
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and familiarity with digital communications platforms and AI tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field
- Experience working within an international NGO, sustainability, or environmental sector
- Experience supporting senior leadership through executive communications
