Senior Managing Counsel, Regulatory EEMEA

Responsibilities

• Provide regulatory support and advice across the EEMEA team and wider business
• Analyse existing and emerging laws affecting Mastercard's products in EEMEA
• Advocate for regulatory reforms through written and verbal consultations
• Track regulatory changes and support compliance implementation
• Manage regulatory filings, submissions and responses to regulator requests
• Evaluate regulatory risk and support implementation of risk controls
• Represent Mastercard at regulator engagements and industry forums

Requirements

• Attorney qualified to practise in the EEMEA region, with LLB or JD
• Substantial regulatory experience in a corporation, government or law firm
• Experience managing regulatory supervision, advocacy and licensing processes
• Strong understanding of financial and payments regulation
• Fluency in English and Arabic, written and spoken
