About the role
Responsibilities
- Help deliver regional plan and contribute to APMEA strategic priorities
- Identify opportunities to increase Lloyd's reach across the Middle East and Turkey
- Build relationships with brokers, coverholders, service companies and market associations
- Connect market participants with Lloyd's initiatives including Lloyd's Lab and Broker Academy
- Develop KPIs, analyse market activity and turn data into commercial insight
- Develop campaigns, events, conferences and thought leadership across the region and London
- Support market education including Lloyd's bootcamps in Saudi Arabia and the DIFC
- Represent Lloyd's externally in industry forums
Requirements
- Significant underwriting, broking or related insurance market experience
- Strong commercial understanding and ability to identify value
- Knowledge of Middle East and Turkey insurance markets, or proven adaptation to different markets
- Advanced relationship-building, influencing and negotiation skills
- Managing several priorities and deadlines simultaneously
- Clear and confident written and verbal English
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of DIFC reinsurance market
- Understanding of the Lloyd's market
- Arabic language skills
- CII or equivalent professional qualification
