About the role
Responsibilities
- Process Trade Finance transactions accurately within agreed turnaround times
- Review trade documentation for compliance with customer instructions, policies and regulations
- Respond to customer and stakeholder queries and provide technical guidance
- Update transactions in relevant systems and support SOP improvements
- Perform daily and monthly proofing, reconciliations, reporting and MIS preparation
- Escalate unusual or suspicious transactions
- Support product testing, training and process improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline or related field
- Minimum three years hands-on Trade Finance experience
- Knowledge of UCP 600, URC 522, ISBP, ISP 98, URDG 758, URR 725 and Incoterms 2010
- Working knowledge of SWIFT and core banking systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel and Access
Preferred Qualifications
- Certificate in International Trade and Finance (CITF)
