About the role
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a benchmark of UAE and regional payments competitors
- Track market trends and regulation (CBUAE, schemes, e-invoicing, WPS)
- Build KPI reports and dashboards from the data lake with Data and IT teams
- Build profitability views per client and segment; propose actions on low-margin clients
- Maintain rate cards and model deal economics before quotes go out
- Support the annual budget and business plan with volume, revenue and margin drivers
Requirements
- 5-8 years in payments with a PSP, gateway, acquirer, card scheme or issuing bank
- Hands-on exposure to at least two of: acquiring, payment gateways, card issuing, digital wallets
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, Economics or related field
- Working knowledge of SQL and BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Advanced Excel modelling
- Strong analytical and commercial judgement
Preferred Qualifications
- Payments certifications (Visa or Mastercard programmes)
- UAE or GCC payments experience, including government payment platforms
