Senior Officer, Nostro Reconciliations (Emiratised Role)

Responsibilities

• Manage exception handling and ensure reconciliation activities are completed on time
• Supervise follow-up of outstanding reconciliation items with banks and branches
• Execute day-to-day reconciliation operations and ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Perform reconciliation of Nostro Accounts and Inter-Branch Call Accounts
• Monitor and resolve outstanding reconciliation issues and escalate irregularities
• Review Nostro account statistics and verify service charges
• Authorize manually matched items with value-date differences
• Review inbound and outbound SWIFT correspondence queues
• Monitor operational workflows and maintain strong risk controls
• Identify and report operational errors promptly
• Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality
• Prepare accurate reports and management information

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Commerce, Finance, or a related discipline
• 4-8 years of banking experience
• At least 5 years of experience in Core Processing, Reconciliations, or Operations
• Expertise in Nostro Reconciliations and SWIFT Operations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
